2011 Annual Sapphire Partners Dinner
October 14th was the night of our annual Sapphire Dinner, where we honor those who have reached their tenth, fifteenth, or twentieth anniversaries as clients of Paragon Advisors. For the fourth straight year the event was held at The Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. Because this was the first year that we had clients who reached their twentieth anniversary with us, the number of those in attendance exceeded any of our previous gatherings. In addition to enjoying the great food and company, we were treated to musical entertainment provided by Dave Byron, a jazz guitarist who hails from Aurora.
It was another great evening, and we are grateful to our Sapphire (10-year), Emerald (15-year) and Diamond (20-year) Partners for making the event possible. We hope to see each of you at a future celebration.

2011 Client Appreciation Brunch
On Saturday, April 30, Paragon Advisors held its annual client appreciation brunch at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook. We enjoyed great food, a beautiful venue, and wonderful fellowship with some long-time friends, as well as some new ones. The educational portion of this year’s brunch included a review of some infamous investment scams from the past and present, along with tips on how to stay protected against such fraud. In addition, we reviewed the current state of the economy and financial markets, including where we see value in the investment world today.
